RCCC Civil Contracting and its employees are committed to creating a work environment that is safe from injury and risk to health.

The company’s goal is to achieve a zero Workplace Incident Record.

The company will ensure this through its commitment to:

• providing and maintaining safe systems of work;

• providing and maintaining plant and substances in a safe condition;

• providing facilities of a prescribed kind for the welfare of employees at all work sites;

• defining WH&S accountability at each level or position within the organisation;

• communication of its commitment to all levels of the organisation, subcontractors and suppliers;

• continual improvement in the WH&S performance is achieved by setting objectives and targets, evaluation, review and training;

• compliance with relevant WH&S legislation, codes of practice etc, and

• communication with, and response to the concerns of interested parties.

RCCC’s Integrated Management System has been developed to suit the specific needs of the company in accordance with the general requirements of AS/NZS 4801:2001.

Company management fully supports and endorses this Workplace Health and Safety Policy which it implements through the Management Policy Manual and its associated procedures.
